OUR 2026 FAITH GOAL:

In Exodus 18, it was Jethro who recognized the need for shared leadership and advised Moses to appoint elders over groups of people so everyone could be cared for well. This wisdom shaped a model where leadership was shared, people were known, and no one was overlooked.
As Vertical Church looks to the future, we are embracing this same biblical principle through Connect Groups. Every member will be connected to an Elder or Pastor who provides spiritual care, guidance, and support. This ensures that as we grow, we grow together: deepening relationships, strengthening community, and staying connected at every level.
Launching this year, the Horizontal San Antonio (HSA) is a tangible response to the call of Matthew 25—to serve the hungry, the vulnerable, and the overlooked. HSA seeks to meet real needs with compassion, dignity, and action.
Through access to resources, community partnerships, and practical support, the Horizontal Family Resource Center reflects our belief that serving people is not optional; it is essential. This is how Vertical Church lives out its faith beyond the walls, turning compassion into impact and love into action.
